To see the relevance of our work to the London Olympics 2012 see the RCUK/Royal Institution Video of Cutting Edge 2012: Research Behind Sailing.
We are pleased to consider requests for a Nature's Raincoats lecture, exhibition or workshop in the Newcastle, Nottingham or Oxford areas.
If it is possible to cover travelling expenses we can consider locations around the UK or possibly overseas.
We are happy to discuss joint research funded by direct contract research funding, UK Research Council (RCUK) part-sponsored collaborative research, Innovate UK part-sponsored applied oriented research or EU Framework Projects. Innovate UK also provide matched funding for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) aimed at improving business processes.
We are happy to discuss joint research funded by direct contract research funding or through other funders.
Academics and PhD Students
We are always happy to discuss research projects with academic colleagues across the world. We can also act as PhD supervisors for students who are self-funded or sponsored by their governments or others. International funding information for researchers is available from the UK Research Councils, The Royal Society and The British Council.
